Little Lulu was one of the greatest comics ever, though I didn’t really appreciate her till I got older. And that’s coming from a weight-lifter who does mixed martial arts and submission wrestling. She was one of the first popular feminist characters, and her friend Tubby probably the first anti-hero I encountered in literature.
Dark Horse Comics is reprinting her adventures. Highly recommended.
