This Is Spinal Tape

This is Spinal Tap, a mock rockumentary. But This Is Spinal Tape, packing tape with real backbone. …Well, it’s illustrated with spinal cord, anyway. According to the reviews, it’s more decorative than structurally sound for packing up boxes.

It may be too late for you to get your child into a pair of these this winter; but there’s always next year to make him or her freak out everyone else on the sledding hill. (Can you only imagine if they were knit from wool?!) From Fleisher’s Baby Book, Infants To 4 Years, Volume # 101; copyright 1957, Fleisher Yarns, Inc.

Celebrity Bingo, Anyone?

Need a way to keep the family’s interest this holiday weekend? Make some celebrity bingo cards! You can adapt this easily to include characters that might be seen the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, use the names & jersey numbers of football players to keep non-football fans interested during game time, etc.. My favorite way to play, however, is during episodes of Charmed. Virtually everyone has been on that show! Seriously, it was like a bewitched version of The Love Boat or Fantasy Island.
