In the midst of all the books on this shelf sit a few of my so-called creepy babies.

I have those vintage felt elves with rubber faces (they sit on the shelf hugging their knees -- watching and reporting for Santa) & my strange soap people here because currently my sci-fi paperback selection is small and this seems to be the place to put them.

Also in the photo is an old mechanical wind-up dog. He doesn't work (winder broken anyway) but he sits here because to the left, what you can't see in this photo, is my collection of dogs. Mostly collies, but more on that another time.

Also in the photo is the hinder of my old plaster dane (shown here).
