The Origins Of Charlie Brown’s Sad Little Christmas Tree

Hubby and I own this gem of a vintage photo; but now you can get it on cards, napkins, etc. for your very own holiday sharing.

The Famous Elvis Chair

This green barrel-backed chair was one of a suite of six from Elvis Presley’s Hillcrest home in Los Angeles. It’s rather as one of these chairs was used in the 1970 family photo shoot with Elvis, Priscilla, and Lisa Marie. It is going up for auction on August 14. Via.

I guess we could all be costume designers — just look at the hat in this photo!

George White's Scandals of 1935

Have A Cow, Valentine

Yeah, Valentine’s Day has passed. But we don’t like to let the romance die. (Plus, we often post stuff as we find it.) Here’s a sweet little Valentine’s Day poem about a cow. And no, it’s not from 4-H — it’s from the American Junior Red Cross (American Junior Red Cross News, February 1953.
