I want this 1940s Hand Painted Matador and Bull Theme Hot Pink Satin Shirt from butchwaxvintage:
It’s a killer smooth HOT PINK cotton satin late 1940’s button-up long sleeved shirt! Buttons up with 5 mother of pearl flat-head buttons. Cuffs have 2 of these same buttons on each. Wide 1940’s pointed collar with hand stitched detailing. Double chest patch pockets with hand stitched detailing on the flaps. On one of the pockets a bull fight ticket stub is hand painted- on it reads “PLAZA DE TOROS CUENCA SOMBRA” with a matador and bull in the middle of the ticket. On the back of the shirt a large scene of a matador and bull is hand painted.
Vintage photo of reidbrand’s mom in the Women’s Land Army (WLA) in 1943. I love how she’s holding a stuffed toy dog — with only one eye.
They say one picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll let you draw your own conclusions about why we’re posting this photo of a little boy celebrating liberation from the Nazis with a cigarette (April 1945) today.

Or at least time with family can feel that way.

Jim sent a comment clarifying The Unknown Comic – Artist:
It’s a play on the single panel comic series “Right Around Home” by Dudley Fisher. More than likely, he did the ad himself.
Thanks, Jim!
